Description

Feltex is seeking a motivated Graduate Trainee – IT to provide first-line IT support and assist with basic IT department administration. The role involves resolving user IT issues, supporting networks and desktops, performing administrative tasks, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The trainee will act as a liaison between end-users and IT management while ensuring reliable IT service delivery in line with organisational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to end-users for desktop hardware, software, and network issues
• Assist users with telephone management reports and voice communication systems
• Perform basic IT administration, including filing, records management, and system monitoring
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the IT department
• Escalate IT events and alerts to relevant personnel as directed by the IT Manager

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus BSc Computer Science or equivalent Diploma
• Knowledge of desktop hardware & software, LAN/network support, and IT administration
• Ability to assist users with telephone systems and IT reporting
• Strong problem-solving, customer service, and continuous improvement mindset
• Knowledge of the automotive industry is advantageous
